What is the ruling of swimming and making wudu in lakes ?

Question:

What is the ruling of swimming and making wudu in lakes ? Is the water pure despite non-Muslims swimming therein? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

If the lake is such a large body of water that if impurity fell into the water, one is certain that it would not reach the other side, then the water would be considered pure on the condition that the trace of impurity does not become apparent in the water via taste, smell, or color.
