What is the ruling of stopping life support if the doctors say there is no hope of recovery?

Question:

What is the ruling of stopping life support if the doctors say there is no hope of recovery? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

If the medical experts advise stopping life support because there is no hope of recovery for the patient, then it would be permissible because this is considered to be a mere withdrawal of treatment and allowing him to die naturally. On the other hand, to deliberately kill the patient, e.g. via lethal injection, would be prohibited.
