Singing and Dancing

Question: Is it permissible to sing and dance if it’s my profession? بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is prohibited to sing and dance regardless if it is a profession or not. We advise you to seek alternative employment. (Raddul Muhtar: v. 9, p. 566 [Maktaba Imdadia])
