Qurbani on behalf of deceased ?

Question:

When 7 people partake in a cow Qurbani, can a deceased person be a part of the 7 people? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Yes, it is permissible for someone to slaughter on a deceased person’s behalf so that they may receive the reward of the Qurbani, e.g. slaughtering a goat on his behalf or allocating 1/7 of a cow/camel for him.
