Question:
5 of my friends have performed jummah salah in accordance with Hanafi fiqh. I came late, so can I be imam, and make my 5 friends as the muqtadi and do jummah? Will my jummah be accepted?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
If your 5 friends already prayed Jumua then prayed behind you, then the second prayer would not count as a Fard Jumua prayer because your five friends are considered to be praying nafl. For it to be a valid Jumua prayer, at least three people, in addition to the Imam, have to pray, however, these muqtadis (followers of the Imam) must be suitable to lead the prayer. Due to the 5 muqtadis not being eligible to lead the prayer, their presence for the second prayer would not be taken into consideration in terms of making it a valid Jumua prayer, rather, it would be considered a nafl (optional) prayer. In such a situation, if no one else is available, you should just pray Zuhr.
