Masah over shoes

Question:

Can we make masah on such shoes that possess the qualities of khuffs (leather socks), e.g. the shoe covers the whole foot including the ankle, it is impermeable, etc.? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Yes, it will be permissible to wipe over such shoes because they possess the qualities of a khuff (leather sock), hence the shoes in reference will take the ruling of a khuff (leather sock) in terms of the validity of wiping over them. Nevertheless, if one intends to pray in such shoes, he/she must ensure that the shoes are free of impurities.1 For more details regarding the conditions for the validity of wiping, kindly refer to the following link:
