Facing feet towards the Qibla ?

Question:

What is the ruling of stretching one’s feet towards the Qibla? بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The Ka’bah is from the salient features of Islam, hence we must respect it. To stretch one’s feet/foot towards the Qibla goes against Islamic etiquette, hence to deliberately stretch one’s feet towards the Qibla is makruh (disliked). Nevertheless, if someone does it forgetfully or due to a valid excuse, then there’s no blame nor sin upon him.
