Correcting muqtadi with ishara

Question:

Situation: Hafiz is leading Taraweeh. Someone outside the Salah gives ishara to someone inside Salah of a mistake. The person inside Salah corrects it by clapping, and the Hafiz takes the Luqmah, is the Salah valid? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Based on the scenario mentioned in your question, the prayer will be valid (Raddul Muhtar: v. 1, p. 622 [Darul Fikr]).
