Breaking Zuhr for Jummah Salah

Question: On Friday if 3 of us, imam and 2 people are reading Zuhr salah and 1 or more Rakat has been recited and then another person comes, what should we do? Complete the Zuhr or break the Zuhr Namaz and pray Jumma? بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

From the nature of the question, it seems that due to the COVID19, the questioner and his companions did not have access to a Jumua prayer in a Masjid due to a lockdown.

According to the scenario mentioned in the query, all of you should complete the Zuhr Salah and thereafter pray the Jumuah Salah. The four rakats of Zuhr that you prayed will become nafl, and the Jumuah Salah will count as the fard.
