Brazilian wax

Question:

Is it haram for a woman to get a Brazilian wax, I’ve tried it myself but have failed? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

A woman may do the Brazilian wax on her own, however it is impermissible to expose her private area to another woman, e.g. by getting it waxed at a salon. In addition, if she chooses to wax herself, she should remove all of the hair around the private area and refrain from leaving a strip of hair or making shapes as is the trend among certain women.
