Is wazifa haram?

Question

Why is wazifa haram? Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The term Wazifa generally refers to specific azkaar (remembrances/duas) or a specific portion of the Quran a person recites on a daily basis. That being said, practicing a specific wazifa will be permissible on the condition that it conforms to the Quran and Sunnah and does not contain anything prohibited, e.g. words of disbelief.
