The meanings of the above-mentioned names are as follows:
Aaida: benefit, profit, advantage, gain (Hans Wehr Dictionary: p. 655 [4th Edition])
Sanaayaa: A nobleman (Al-Maani)
Aaida (with Dhaad): substitute (Al-Maani)
In Islam, it is very important to give our child a good name. The Prophet (SAW) said:
[عن أبي الدرداء:] إنكم تُدعَونَ يومَ القيامةِ بأسمائِكم وأسماءِ آبائِكم فأَحسِنُوا أسماءَكم
سنن أبي داود ٤٩٤٨
Translation: Verily, you will be called on the Day of Recompense by your names and the names of your fathers, therefore give yourselves good names.
In conclusion, we advise you to choose from the best of names for your daughter, e.g. the daughters of our Prophet (SAW), his wives (RA), the Sahabiyat (RA), and other pious ladies.
