Superstition

Question:

Grannies say that if someone is pregnant in the house, we should not pierce the ear of other children (girl) as it will harm the baby inside the womb when it is being born? Same for sunnat (qatna for boys). I mean relations of that pregnant woman should not do. Is it true?

Answer: ﺑﺴﻢ اﷲ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﯿﻢ In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
